Village Owners Committee Notice

The Hillgrove Village VOC seeks support from owners to move towards legal action against City Management for failing in its duty to use legal action against a debtor to recover money arising from unpaid Management Fees plus unpaid contributions to the past two renovations together with the interest in accordance with the Principal Deed of Mutual Covenant.

The VOC sees no alternative other than legal action

however Hillgrove owners views are welcome as well as any further suggestions. .

Your VOC wishes to make all owners aware that for 18 years Discovery Bay Services Management Limited [DBSML] , “CM” , has failed to properly deal with the collection of certain management fees and yet intends to increase the Management Fees by 3.5%, yielding a lesser amount than the amount owed.

Most of the current VOC members have been active since the Autumn of 2014, when the debt, which had already been accumulating for 11 years, was first discovered.

In 2016, the VOC unanimously agreed to ask the Chairman to seek legal counsel and voted again to release the out-of-pocket expense [HK$ 18,000]. CM abused its power to obstruct the payment and for now the cost has squared by two VOC members.
